Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit- 19-34 years for Muslim, SIUC Nadar, LC/AI, OBC, Viswakarma, Hindu Nadar, & Dheevara communities
- 19-36 years for OX, ST & SC, applicants
Qualification
- Must have passed the 12th exam (it’s equivalent ).
- Must not be less than 152 cms in height & 8 in the case of applicants belonging to ST/SC community, the mini height shall be 150 cms
Physical Qualifications required:
(1) Physical: The mini height shall be 152 cms, & in the case of applicants belonging to ST/SC, the mini height shall be 150 cms.
(2) Endurance Test: All applicants shall successfully complete an endurance test of running a 2 km race within 15 min.
(3) Physical Efficiency Test: Must qualify in any 5 events out of 8 events specified below of the National Physical Efficiency Test (One Star Standard Test)
(4) Physique and Eye Sight:
(1) Must be certified by a Medical Officer, not below the rank of a Junior consultant/Assistant Surgeon as to her Capacity & physical fitness for active outdoor work. The Medical Certificate has to be produced as & when called for.
(2) Must be certified to possess the visual standards specified( below without glasses).
