The CDS exam is directed twice in multi-year. UPSC CDS 2021 Application Form:

After the submission of the application from the selection process will start. An application form will be accessible on the authorized website of UPSC. Candidates should be full fill the essential information and personal detail in the application form. After filling all essential detail candidates should upload the scanned photo and signature in the application form.

UPSC CDS 2021 Eligibility Criteria:

The applicant should be unmarried and must be Indian. The age limit for the officers’ Training Academy 25 years. For INA, IMA, AFA courses the period of applicants should lie b/w 20 to 24 years. The applicant must have graduation or B.Tech and B.E degree. Also physics and mathematics at 10+2 from predictable university/institutions. Candidates must be physically fit according to the recommended criteria of the Combined Defense Services Examination.

Application Fee:

An application fee will be of Rs. 200(For General and OBC category only) and The SC/ST category do not need to pay any fee charges. The mode of fee submission can be online and offline.

UPSC CDS 2021 Exam Pattern:

Exam conducted in offline mode. The exam will be in written form. Paper will involve questions from Elementary Mathematics, English, and General Knowledge subjects. Negative marking takes place in this exam. For Admission to IMA(Indian Military Academy), INA(Indian Naval Academy), and AFA(Air Force Academy). Written examination consider 300 marks (for IMA, INA, and AFA)

UPSC CDS 2021 Admit Card:

The admit card will be discharged through online mode only. No Admit Card will be sent to the candidate by post. The applicant should also download the answer key form the official website of UPSC. For Interview/Personality Test the commission will issue isolate Admit Card.

Examination centers:

UPSC CDS 2021 Selection Process:

The process of selection will be based on certain stages which are described below. Written Exam – First the official authority will be organizing the written exam in which thousands of applicants will appear. Those who will be qualifying the written examination will be able to appear in the next stage. Group Discussions – Now the applicants who have passed the written examination will be taking part in the Group Discussions in which they will be given a topic on which they will have to present their views. Then the authority will choose certain no. of applicants who will be able to move on to the next stage.

Personal Interview:

At this stage, the applicants will have to appear in a Persona Interview Round. A panel of selectors will hold an interview in which the suitable applicants will be chosen on the basis of their communication skills and other skills. Document verification & Medical Examination – Now the selected applicants just need to get their documents verified. Finally, they will need to appear for a Medical Examination. After clearing this stage, they will be recruited for the Defense Services.
