Indian defense forces (such as the Indian Army, Indian Navy, and Indian Air Force) select applicants as officers. The exam will take place twice a year. UPSC NDA 2025 Application Form:
Interested and eligible applicants must apply online from the official website of UPSC. Additionally, they should meticulously fill out all compulsory details in the application form. Furthermore, candidates must provide all necessary information and personal details in the application form. However, it’s important to note that applicants cannot make corrections or changes after submitting the online application form. Moreover, after completing the personal and educational sections, the applicant must upload scanned photos and signatures. Importantly, the system only permits one submission of the application form. Therefore, applicants should thoroughly review all details before submission.
Eligibility Criteria:
Applying candidates should be an Indian (a subject of Nepal/a subject of Bhutan or a Tibetan refugee who came to India before January 1, 1962, to permanently settle here). Those Candidate apply for the NDA 1 they must be born not before July 2,1999 & not after July 1,2002. For the NDA 2 candidate must be born not before January 2,2000 & not after January 1,2003. Only unmarried male Applicant can be eligible to apply.
Applicant eligibility For the Air Force & Naval Wings of NDA & for the 10+2 Cadet Entry scheme at the Indian Naval Academy: Applicant must have clear 12th examination(mathematics & physics compulsory subject)from a recognized Board/University.
For Army Wing of NDA:
Applicant should have complete 10+2 form the recognized Board/University. Those applicant who are appearing in the 10+2 will also apply for the exam.
Physical standards:
As per physical criteria only those candidate which are physically fit can apply for the NDA.
Application Fee:
For the general or open category application fee Rs 100/- & for the SC/ST /Sons of JCOs/NCOs/ORs applicant do not need to pay any fee charge. Candidates can be paid application fee by using any branch of SBI Bank/use net banking/master card/visa card/debit card.

UPSC NDA 2025 Admit Card:
The UPSC will release the admit card online 2 or 3 weeks before the NDA exam date. They will not send it via offline methods. Applicants must download the admit card from the official UPSC website. The UPSC will only issue admit cards to applicants who have successfully filled out the application form within the specified time frame. It’s essential for candidates to remember that they will not be allowed to sit for the exam without the admit card. Therefore, applicants must carry their admit cards to the exam center. The admit card will contain all necessary details such as roll number, center, and timing.
UPSC NDA 2025 Result:
The UPSC will release the results of the NDA entrance exam approximately 30 days (one month) after the examination. The official website of UPSC will declare the results. Candidates should check their results by providing the required details such as roll number and date of birth. Applicants must print out or save the result until they complete the selection process. Candidates who pass the NDA written test will receive invitations for the admission process.
UPSC NDA 2025 Selection Process:
Candidates selected based on the written test will receive a call for the SSB interview. The SSB interview process typically lasts for 4 to 5 days. Upon clearing the SSB interview, candidates will receive a call for the next steps, including the medical test and document verification process.
UPSC NDA 2025 Syllabus:
Syllabus is categories into two sections the first section consider Mathematics & second section consider General Ability Test. Second section General Ability Test cover the topics GK(General knowledge), English, Chemistry, Physics, Geography, General Science and Current Events.
